5.1 Metal Forming - Strengthening Ribs
Pressing strengthening ribs on metal parts will help to increase structural rigidity, reinforcement structure. See Table 6 for size selection.

5.2 Metal Forming- Convex Hull Pressing

5.3 Metal Forming - Louvers
Louvers are usually used for ventilation and heat dissipation on various housings or chassis.The forming method is to cut the material through one edge of the punch, while the rest part of the punch will stretch and deform the material at the same time.
The typical structure of the louver is shown in Figure 6.3.1.

Requirement for size of louvers: a≥4t；b≥6t；h≤5t；L≥24t；r≥0.5t。
5.4 Metal Forming: Hole flanging
There are many types of hole flanging. This specification focuses only on the inner hole flanging for processing threads, as shown in figure 6.4.1.
